Juniper
On Wednesday I went to the Dendy Cinema Coorparoo to see the movie Juniper. It's the 1990's in New Zealand and Sam (George Ferrier) an adolescent who had been to boarding school is sent to stay with his grandmother Ruth (Charlotte Rampling) who is having health issues and in an wheel chair as his father Robert (Marton Csokas) is going to England and the relationship starts not in an good way but then it devlopes as he helps Ruth around and starts to get interesting. It is beautiful and excellent with great acting by Charlotte Rampling, Marton Csokas, George Ferrier and Edith Poor who plays the nurse Sarah. It was directed by Matthew J Saville who also did the screenplay and produced by Desray Armstrong and Angela Littlejohn. It is one the finest performances Charlotte Rampling has given when you think her first film was more than 55 years ago and she still has it. I give it 4 stars and it's in the cinemas now so do yourselves an favour and See It which you will be impressed and amazed.
