The Seekers in Brisbane in the 1960's

With the recent passing of Seekers lead singer Judith Durham I would like to do an tribute to the Seekers doing shows in Brisbane which the first one did was before they became well known and they did an 2 week stint at the Lennons Hotel in Brisbane in February 1964
The next visit to Brisbane was the following year when they were on the bill with the Dave Clark Five, Tommy Quickly, Bobby and Laurie, Brisbane group The Escorts and Brisbane singer Toni McCann and played the Festival Hall June 3rd 1965
They came back to Brisbane the following year which they toured Australia and New Zealand which on the bill with them were Bill and Boyd (New Zealand act who was also known in Australia ), The Librettos (an New Zealand group) and Marcie Jones and they did Brisbane February 19th 1966
They didn't tour Australia in 1967 which even though they performed at the Myer Music Bowl in front of 200,000 people and were in Queensland in part of the filming of the TV special The Seekers Down Under which was parts of it done on the Gold Coast and they did tour Australia and New Zealand in January and February 1968 which included 2 shows in Brisbane on February 6th and 7th 1968 at the City Hall which was sold out and also it was also their final Australian and New Zealand tour as they broke up in July 1968
