Mrs Harris Goes To Paris

On Sunday I went to the Events Cinema Carindale to see the movie Mrs Harris Goes To Paris. Ada Harris(Lesley Manville) who is an war widow and has been an cleaner becomes interested in an dress done by Christian Dior which she is then inspired to buy one so then she gets an war widow's pension which she then goes over to Paris to get one. When she arrives she stumbles into the 10th anniversary of Dior's Collection which she is friendly with accountant Andre (Lucas Bravo), Natasha (Alba Baptaista) an model who works for Dior and however Claudine (Isabelle Huppert) who is the director of Dior doen't like her. The company is going through financial problems and they reluctantly allow Ada to make a dress because she will pay it in cash and stays with Andre which she encourages him to express his feeling for Natasha and it gets interesting. It is excellent, very funny and very entertaining with excellent acting by Lesley Manville who was executive producer as well, Isabelle Huppert, Alba Baptaista, Lucas Bravo, Ellen Thomas and Rose Williams. It's directed by Anthony Fabian who produced it with Xavier Marchand and Guillaume Benski as well as the screenplay with Keith Thompson, Carroll Cartwright and Olivia Hetreed and it's based on the 1958 novel by Paul Gallico called Mrs'Arris Goes To Paris. I give it 4 stars as it's in the cinemas now so do yourselves an favour and SEE IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
