Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem

On Monday i went to the Southbank Cinema to see the movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem which it was my 2nd time actually as I had seen it the week before with my nieces at Balmoral Cinema. Cynthia Utrom(Voiced by Maya Rudolph) who is an executive of TCRI (Techno Cosmic Research Institute) sends a squad to hunt down Baxter Stockman(voiced by Giancarlo Esposito) who is an rogue scientist who is creating an mutagenic ooze which he intends to create his own animal family starting with an fly and is killed in the explosions when the gang invaded the building which the ooze falls in the sewers. The 15 years later 4 turtles Leonardo, Raphael, Michaelangelo and Donatello who along with the rat Splinter live in the sewers only allowed out to steal supplies and Splinter distrusts humanity after an encounter which they were chased away and trains ninjustsu. The Turtles meets an teenager named April O'Neil (vocied by Aya Edebiri) who is an aspiring journalist who has been investigating an series of robberies of TCRI technology done by Superfly and the Turtles plan to stop him which through April's report they would be accepted as heroes. They meet Superfly under the Brooklyn Bridge which they discovered that he is not only an mutant but leader of the mutant gang and then it gets interesting. It is very good, very funny and very entertaining with great performances by Maya Rudolph, Aya Edebiri, Giancarlo Esposito, John Cena, Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne, Ice Cube and Jackie Chan who was the voice of Splinter. It was directed by Jeff Rowe who also did the screen and the story and Seth Rogen whow as the voice Be Bop in the movie who was also one of the producers as well as doing the story and screenplay. It 's just amazing to see the interest in the Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles is still there in 2023 as the original movies and the TV series back in the 80's and 90's as well as in the 2000's and 2010's and it's great to see an new generation of fans discovering Teengae Mutant Ninja Turtles. I give it 4 stars as it's in the cinemas now so do yourselves an favour and SEE IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
