This is the memoir of former manager of the iconic Australian rock band Cold Chisel Rod Willis and in this book he talks about his upbringing in Sydney, his parents split, seeing live music around Sydney, going to London in 1966 on the boat, seeing the live music in London, started as an roadie with UFO and Savoy Brown , working in Europe and America, came back to Australia in 1977, discovered Cold Chisel who would become their manager that would last 32 years and would take them to great success, playing an part in establishing the Dirty Pool Management Agency, his 2 marriages, worked at Regular Records, encounters with Fleetwood Mac, Foreigner, Icehouse, Michael Coppel and Michael Gudinski and many others. It's FANTASTIC, AWESOME and SUPERB with AWESOME and BRILLLIANT stories as well as very impressive and very entertaining which it is well worth an read. It's an amazing journey for Rod from seeing live music, to being an roadie and tour manager and an manager of an iconic and legendary Australian rock band whose music still endures today. This is an must for Australian music fans and I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed and you will love it.
