The Hollies inducted into the Rock''n"Roll hall of Fame

On march 15th, the UK 60's rock-pop group The Hollies were inducted into the Rock'n'roll hall of Fame along with Genesis, Jimmy Cliff,The sTooges and Abba. The Holiies who had many hits in the 60's & 70's like I'm Alive,Just one look, Look thriugh Any Window, Bus Stop, Carrie Anne, Sorry Susanne, He Aint Heavy He's My Brother, Long Cool WOman in A Black Dress, the Air that I Breathe and many others were inducted by Stevei Van Zant of the E street Band and the members who attended were- Graham NAsh(1962-68,1983), Eric HAydock(1962-66), Terry Sylvester(1969-81),bernie Calvert(1966-81) and original lead singer who sang on the hits Allan Clarke(1962-71,73-77,78-1999) as lead guitarist Tony Hicks(1963-) and drummer Bobby Elliott(1963-) could'nt go as they were on tour in the UK with the current line-up. In his acceptance speech Graham Nash mentioned original drummer Don Rathbone who played on the group's first 2 hits Aint That Just Like Me(no 25) & Searchin(no 12) and Ron Richards who produced many of the Hollies hits passed away last year and terry sylvester thanked Robin Britten who was managed the group back in the 60's who passed in 1989. Graham & allan performed Bus Stop & carrie Ann with adam Levin & jesse Carmichael from Maroon 5 & Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress with Little Steven van Zant & pat monahan from Train. I am so glad that the Hollies are inducted into the Rock'n'roll hall of fame and they truly deserve it for the impact they have done for rock'n'roll.
