war Horse

Last Monday January 9th I went to the South Bank Cinema to see the movie War Horse. Albert Narracott(Jeremy irvine) who lives with his parents Rose(Emily Watson) and Ted(Peter Mullan) is admiring an young thoroughbred foal which Ted buys it at an auction much to Rose's dismay. Albert devotes most of his time to train joey which Albert names him and when world war 1 breaks out they are forcefully parted which Joey goes into the army and would experience the interesting journey throughout the war inspiring and changing the lives of the people he would meet on the way. It's an sad, touching and an BRILLIANT movie with brilliant performances by Emily Watson, Jeremy Irvine, Peter Mullan, Tom Hiddleston who plays CAptain Lyons, Niels Arestrup who plays the grandfather of an young french girl named Emilie (Celine Buckens) who live on the farm in France,Matt Milne who plays Andrew and others. It's directed by Steven Spielberg who also produces the film with Kathleen Kennedy and He does an BRilliant job in this film. John Williams does the music, Richard Curtis and Lee Hall did the screenplay and it's based on the novel by Michael Morpurgo as well as an play as well. I must admit i felt bit of an tear in my eye watching this movie as well as being moved by this story and that's what an great movie should be all about an great story that can touch people and this film has that. I give this 5 stars and it's currently running in the cinemas at the moment
