Over the Top and Back is the autobiography of legendary Welsh singer Tom Jones. In this book he talks about his upbringing in Pontypridd Wales, have Tuberculosis for 2 years, getting married at 16 to Linda as they are still together to this day as well as having a son Mark, performing around Wales with the Senators as Tommy Scott, going to London in 1964 which he would record for Decca, having the first hit record with It's Not Unusual in 1965, having successful hit singles in that period including What's New Pussycat, Green Green Grass Of Home, Delilah, Detriot City, Help Yourself, She's A Lady, hosting his own TV Show This Is Tom Jones, performing in Las Vegas, working with Elvis Presley, the passing of his manager Gordon Mills, and the resurgence in the 80's up to now and many others. It is an AWESOME,BRILLIANT,FANTASTIC and an SUPERB book with FANTASTIC stories and an FANTASTIC read which I enjoyed it very much. Tom Jones is still going strong still recording and touring as he has just released an new album called Long Lost Suitcase which has gone to number 17 in the UK and also it's 50 years when he came on the scene with It's Not Unusual. This book is a must for Tom Jones fans which I give it 5 Stars and it's in the shops now so do yourself a favour and BUY IT.
