Boney M featuring Maizie Williams @ Twin Towns

Last night I went to Twin Towns to see legendary 70's group Boney M featuring Maizie Williams which she is one of the original founding members and it was my first time seeing an member of Boney M as Liz Mitchell who is another original founding member also tours. I went to Twin Towns, went to Orient Restaurant, Had King Prawns and Steamed Rice for dinner, drank Pepsi max, went up to the 5th floor, bought Maizie Williams DVD, ate Chocolate and went inside the Showroom. The show started at 8pm which the support act Winter Moon an group from Melbourne who did an great set doing mainly original songs as well as an cover of the Fleetwood Mac song Rhiannon with great playing buy the guys as well as the singing by their lead singer Milly. There was an interval where I bought the EP, got an photo with Milly and went back inside. Boney M featuring Maizie Williams came on the stage and did an set doing the classic Boney M hits from the 70's as well as the Bob Marley song No Woman No Cry as well as changing their clothes towards the end of the set as well as getting the crowd entertained to sing along to the songs and well getting them to stand up and it felt like an huge party singing along as well as there were some of the people were some people dancing in the showroom and also the group shook hands with the hands which Maizie shook mine which was great. The show finished at about 10.30pm, met 2 of the members of Winter Moon Lyle and Jake, got winter moon stickers, got another photo with Milly, rang Dad and went back to Greenmount Resort. It was an FANTASTIC show which everyone had an great time and the group sounded great and the back up band were FANTASTIC too and I look forward to see the Boney M featuring Maizie Williams again soon.
