Heavy Duty Days and Nights in Judas Priest by KK Downing

This is the autobiography of guitarist and founding member of the legendary British heavy metal band Judas Priest KK Downing and he talks about his upbringing in West Bromwich with an abusive father, getting his first guitar after seeing Jimi Hendrix, played in bands Stage Coach and Freight , joined Judas Priest in 1970, achieving great success with albums like Sad Wings of Destiny, Stained Class, Killing Machine, Point of Entry as well as songs like You've Got Another Thing Comin, Breaking The Law, Living After Midnight etc, touring the world as well as working with acts like AC/DC, REO Speedwagon, Led Zeppelin etc, line -up changes, issues with management, the personality conflicts and many others. It's AWESOME, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with AWESOME and FANTASTIC stories as well as honest, no holds barred and entertaining and an enjoyable book to read which I enjoyed reading it. KK Downing retired from Judas Priest in 2011 but is a member of the band's board of directors and the group are still touring with Ian Hill and Rob Halford and recording. this book is an must for heavy metal fans as well as Judas Priest fans and I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops right now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you'll enjoy it.
