Catch A Falling Star by Katie M Little

This is the book written by Katie Little the daughter of Australian entertainer Jeanne Little and she talks about her childhood as well as talking about growing up being Jeanne Little's daughter who was very popular in the 70's and 80's on the daytime show The Mike Walsh Show as well as doing Beauty and the Beast as well as doing Marlena musical and behind the scenes as well as her mother having Alzheimer's she takes over the reigns and others. It's BRILLIANT, SUPERB and FANTASTIC with AWESOME, FUNNY and Hilarious stories as well as sad and touching and so very enjoyable too and Katie is an writer, designer and is an patron of the Jeanne Little Alzheimer's Research Fund. This is for fans of Australian TV and I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will enjoy it.

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song...

This is the book about 2 iconic Australian music shows that were on Channel 0 (now Channel 10)back in the 60's The Go Show on August 4th 1964 which lasted for 3 years and 222 episodes until September 17th 1967 and Kommotion hosted by Ken Sparkes was on from December 13th 1965 until September 28th 1967 after 356 episodes and in the book it has the info about both shows as well as episode guides as well the discography of both the Go label and the Kommotion label and the people who worked on Kommotion including Denise Drysdale and Molly Meldrum and many others including some memorabilla and photos of the artists.
