On The Basis Of Sex
Tonight I went to the Balmoral Cinema where I saw the movie On The Basis Of Sex. Ruth Bader Ginsberg (Felicity Jones) joins the Harvard Law School which she's studying to be an lawyer and she also does her husband Martin's(Armie Hammer) studies as well when he fell ill with cancer which he survives and moves to New York where he is hired by a firm and takes an job as a teacher at Rutgers Law School. Fast forward to the 1970's she gets the attention of a case about an man fro Denver named Charles Moritz(Chris Mulkey) who had hired an nurse to look after his aging mother so he could continue work but was denied a tax deduction for nursing care due to the Section 214 of the Revenue Internal Code which she brings this case to the Supreme Court. It's Fantastic and Brilliant with Top, Fabulous and Brilliant acting by Felicity Jones, Armie Hammer, Justin Theroux, Sam Waterston and Kathy Bates. it's directed by Mimi Leder, Robert W Cort was the producer and Daniel Stiepleman did the screenplay and also the real Ruth Bader Ginsberg is still around which she has been the Associate Justice Of the US Supreme Court since 1993. it's an inspirational story and to understand how those times were tough to be heard but thankfully people like Ruth paved the way to be where it is today and equality and woman's rights have come a long way since then. I am giving this 4 stars as it's in the cinemas so do yourselves an favour and See It which you'll be impressed
