Took photos, saw Ros Lovejoy(kylie's Mum and Arnold's wife), had an look at Record Sale and watch Hellcat III from Central NSW which they did an set of covers including Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and The Ventures as well as original songs which they were FANTASTIC AND AWESOME. had nachos for lunch, drank Coke Zero, watch the Hot Rod Belle Pageant which Angi Bettie Butcher did the intro to the girls involved and they looked great as well as Angi doing an great job, saw Kris Knight who does the Buddy Holly Tribute Show and Victoria (Miss Curly Sue) and went to the Butterbeats Stall where I bought records by Duane Eddy, Marica Hines, Little River Band, Karen Knowles and Olivia Newton John and watch Hank Japoly Demons from Melbourne which they did original stuff as well as some covers. Took Photos, saw friends like Lisa, Drea, Katrina, Angi,Kel, Vicki, Tim as well as meeting Kane, Angela, Reg, Bianca, Sarah, Zara and Dee, left at about 3.15pm, went to the Petrol Station where I bought crackers and Coke Zero, went to bus stop, ate crackers, drank Coke Zero, caught bus, got off at Carindale, Dad picked me up and came home. It was AWESOME and FANTASTIC which everyone had a great time including myself and the music was AWESOME as well as the cars were FANTASTIC and everything was great too. It's amazing that it's been going for 20 years and I think it's getting better and better every year which it has an great atmosphere for not just music lovers as well as families who like an day out. A big thanks goes to Lori Lee who puts it together every year and does an FANTASTIC job bringing great rockabilly acts from Australia as well as overseas and what would the rockabilly scene in Brisbane would be without Lori so well done my friend. I look forward to coming back again next year and to those who have not gone yet do yourselves an favour and SEE IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
