Suzi Q

Last Sunday I went to Dendy Cinema to see the music documentary Suzi Q which it's about American born British singer Suzi Quatro and in this documentary she talks about her bringing in Detroit, performing with her sisters in the Pleasure Seekers which became later on Cradle, leaving for England in 1971 where she would great success throughout the 70's with hits like Can The Can, Devil Gate Drive, Tear Me Apart, 48 Crash, Daytona Demon, Stumblin In and many others, trying to crack America, doing Happy Days as Leather, personal issues with her sisters and many others and interviews besides Suzi herself Joan Jett, Andy Scott(Sweet), DOn Powell(Slade), her ex husband and musician Len Tuckey, Mike Chapman who wrote many of her hits, her children Laura and Richard, her brother Michael and sisters Patti and Nancy, Alice Cooper, Henry Winkler, Debbie Harry, Kathy Valentine and many others. It's FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB as well as impressive, entertaining and inspirational and great stories and interviews. It's written, directed and co produced by Liam Firmager with Tait Brady and executive producers were Stephanie Stevenson, Jason Byrne, Shaun Miller and Adam La Rosa . Suzi is still recording and touring which she released an album No Control early this year and has done some Australian dates just recently and should be considered for an Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame induction for what she pioneered as she played bass and sang as she paved the way for many female rock and roll singers to play instruments too which she should deserve some recognition and also this is one of best rock documentaries I've seen. This is an must for Suzi Quatro fans which I give it 5 stars as it's in some cinemas here in Australia this year and if you want to see please do yourselves an favour and SEE IT which I'm sure you will be amazed and impressed.
