The Beautiful Ones by Prince
This is the memoir by American musician and singer Prince and in this book he talks about his upbringing in Minnesota, his parents divorcing when he was 7, getting his first guitar and played in an Band called Grand Central as he wrote the few dozen pages before passing away and in the remaining of the book takes us through his early days as an musician as well as his evolution through images up to his greatest achievement through scrapbook of writing and photos as well as the handwritten treatment of his big hit Purple Rain and many others. It's FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with AWESOME stuff as well as fascinating and impressive and enjoyable. It's been 3 years since Prince passed away but has left an great legacy of music which will live on forever and this book was framed by Dan Pipenbring an advisory editor at the Paris Review as well as had been working with Prince to do this book when he passed away which I got to say that Dan has done an great job putting it together. This is an must for Prince fans which I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you'll be amazed and impressed.
