Friday On My Mind by Jeff Apter

This is the biography of Scottish Australian songwriter and record producer as well as founding member of the legendary Australian rock group The Easybeats George Young and in this book he talks about George's upbringing in Scotland,  coming to Australia with his family including his brothers Malcolm and Angus,  forming the Easybeats  who achieve great success with hits like she's So Fine, Wedding Ring,  Sorry, Women, Friday On My Mind and many others, living in England for 4 years, the work he did with Harry Vanda writing and producing acts for the Alberts label including John Paul Young, The Angels, Stevie Wright, Rose Tattoo, Ted Mulry and AC/DC as well as achieving success as Flash and the Pan with Harry, the handshake with Ted Albert that helped an Music empire  and many others. It's FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with FANTASTIC and Impressive stories some not told before and an great job well done by Jeff Apter with great research  as it's his 3rd book about the Young brothers which he did an effort on Angus and Malcolm. It will be 3 years in October since George Young passed away but the great music he made as well as writing and producing he did lives on forever. This is an must for Australian music fans and I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be amazed.
