This is the  autobiography of legendary American singer Eddie Floyd and in this book he talks about his upbringing in Montgomery  Alabama,  serving 3 years in an reform school,  moving to Detroit  where he formed the group The Falcons who would achieve success with You're So Fine and I Found A Love, recording for Lapine and Safice,  recording for Stax Records where he would achieve success with hits like Knock On Wood,  I Never Found A Girl and Raise your Hands  as well as success an songwriter,  playing his part in the rise of southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd, working with Otis Redding,  Wilson Pickett, Bill Wyman,  Booker T and the MGs, Isaac Hayes,  the downfall of Stax Records and many others.  It's  AWESOME,  BRILLIANT and SUPERB with fantastic,  entertaining and impressive stories and an enjoyable read.  This is co written with Tony Fletcher who has done books about Keith moon,  REM, The Smiths and others. This is a must for soul music fans as well as fans of 60s music and I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and buy it which you'll be impressed and amazed.
