The Fablemans

On Sunday I went to the Southbank Cinema to see the movie The Fablemans. It's 1952 and Sammy Fableman(Mateo Zoryan Francis-DeFord) along with his parents Burt (Paul Dano) and Mitzi (Michelle Williams ) go to the movies to see the movie the Greatest Show on Earth which the train crash scene dazzles the boy and he gets the toy train which crashes it one night and then using Burt's camera to shoot the crash which inspires Sammy to do filming which he does regularly filming his sisters. Then due to Burt's new job the family moves to Phoenix Arizona which Sammy(now played by Gabriel Labelle) continues to do filming with the boys scouts as well as an family camp which while editing he discovers his mother with family friend Bennie(Seth Rogen) having feelings for each other and then Burt moves to California due to an job promotion which then gets interesting. It is FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with Brilliant and Superb acting by Paul Dano, Michelle Williams, Gabriel LaBelle and Seth Rogen even an appearance by legendary director David Lynch as John Ford. It is directed by Steven Spielberg and he produced with it with Tony Kushner and Kristie Macosko Krieger as well as Tony and Steven did the screenplay and the movie is inspired by Steven Spielberg's growing up and starting as an film maker. I am giving this 4 and an half stars as it's in the cinemas now so do yourselves an favour and SEE IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
