No Fixed Address by Donald Robertson
This is the biography of the legendary Australian Aboriginal Rock N Reggae Band and in this book talks about their formation in 1979, playing around Adelaide, doing the film Wrong Side of the Road in 1981, recorded for Rough Diamond Records, touring overseas, doing Countdown, split up in 1984 but have reformed an number of times since then, encounters with Bob Hawke, Lobby Loyde and David Briggs of Little River Band and working with Cold Chisel, Midnight Oil, Ian Dury, The Clash, Men At Work and Peter Tosh and many others. It is FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT stories as well as very impressive and very entertaining stories which it is well worh an read. Donald Robertson who co founded the music magazine Roadrunner and the inaugural editor of Countdown magazine from 1983 until 1986 and wrote other books including On Tour With INXS did this book which he did an FANTASTIC job and the members of No Fixed Address were interviewed for the book. The band are going back on the road during this year which I hope they come to Queensland and this is an must for Australian music fans which I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now do so yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
