the Bee Gees in Our Own Time DVD



Just 3 Weeks ago the Bee Gees DVD "In Our Own Time" was released in the shops. This DVD has interviews with Barry and Robin Gibb in their own words as well as footage interviews with Maurice from "This Is Where I Came In" documentary in 2001 telling the story of their rise to fame from their childhood in England, coming to Australia in 1958 which they settled in Brisbane, performing @ Redcliffe Speedway which led them to met Disc Jockey Bill gates, performing On TV shows, returning to England in 1967 to take an crack on the international market which had success with new york Mining Disaster, To love Somebody, Massachusetts, etc as well as their temporary break up for 15 months, tough period in the early 70's when they were not successful, moving to Miami, reinventing themselves in the mid 70's with disco & R&B with hits like Jive Talkin,Nights on Broadway, Fanny Be tender which led to the successful period with Saturday Night Fever and the Spirits Having Flown, working with other artists and of course the deaths of Andy and Maurice. It's an very good DVD with Robin and Barry telling the stories as well as the archival footage interview with Maurice & clips of appearances ON TV shows like Brian Henderson's Bandstand, Top Of the Pops, THE Ed Sullivan show, Strictly for Moderns hosted by Desmond tester doing Time Is Passing By and home videos and also Barry & robin performing some of the songs together. It's an must for any Bee Gees fans and it's in the shops now which i give it 4 stars
