With Britain on the verge of war with Germany and in need of a leader desperately Bertie's wife Elizabeth the future Queen Mother (Helena Bonham Carter) hires Australian speech therapist Lionel Logue (Geoffrey Rush) to help her husband to overcome his problems and after an rough start the two of them form an unbreakable bond. It's an AWESOME,excellent and a brilliant movie and BRILLIANT acting by Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush, Helena Bonham Carter, Guy Pearce, Eve Best who played Wallis Simpson, Claire Bloom is just excellent as Queens Mary, Michael Gambon as King George V, Anthony Andrews who played King Edward VIII in the movie "The Woman He Loved" in 1988 played Stanley Baldwin, Timothy Spall as Sir Winston Churchill and others.
