After Hours Glenn Frey
After Hours is the latest album by American singer-songwriter as well as an member of the legendary American group the Eagles Glenn Frey. It is Glenn's first solo album in 20 years since when he released Strange Weather in 1992 and this album has standards from the 1940's-60's and as the title track written by Glenn and Jack Tempchin. The album was recorded at the The Doghouse in Los ANgeles, California with Glenn producing and arranging the album with Richard FW Davis and Michael Thompson who also play with Glenn on this album. and it's mixed by Elliott Scheiner as well as the orchestral arrangements are done by ALan Broadbent. It's an excellent and Brilliant album with an excellent performance and singing by glenn Frey who is in fine form and he sings the songs very well which among them are Caroline No(from pet Sounds by the Beach Boys), my buddy, Route 66, Worried Mind, Same Girl and many others. The orchestra musicians are just playing brilliantly on the album and an great band backing up Glenn which are Scott Cargo, Reggie McBRide, Michael Thompson and Richard FW Davis which they are just excellent. This is an must for any fans of the Eagles as well as fans of Glenn Frey's solo work and I enjoyed listening to this album seeing the other of Glenn who we all know for doing the country rock with the Eagles as well as his solo hits like the heat is on, you belong to the city and others. i am giving this 4 and half stars and it's currently in the music shops now.
