Out Amongst The Stars Johnny Cash

Out Amongst The Stars is the new posthumous album by legendary American country singer Johnny Cash. the recordings from this album were from 1981 when they were recorded @ Columbia Studios in Nashville and 1111 Sound Studios in 1984 which they were produced by Billy Sherrill but it was never released and then in 2012 Johnny Cash's son John Carter Cash discovered it which he then added musicians including guitarist-mandolin player Marty Stuart who had played on those 1980's recordings, jerry Douglas on Dobro, Buddy Miles on guitar to add out the sound to fill in the holes that were not on those recordings at that time which that was recorded @ Cash Cabin Studio in Hendersonville and was mixed by Niko Bolas @ Blackbird Studios in Nashville and Capitol Studios in Hollywood which he was assisted by Nathan Yarborough at Blackbird. It is an EXCELLENT and a BRILLIANT album with BRILLIANT songs which sounded great and Johnny Cash sounded great on the songs. Among the songs on it are Baby Ride Easy and Don't You Think It's Come Our Time with June Carter Cash , I'm Movin On with Waylon Jennings, She Used To Love Me A Lot and Rock and Roll shoes. This album has been doing so well which it has gone to number 1 in the US Country charts, number 3 in the USA, number 2 in Canada, number 13 in Poland and number 11 in Italy which it's great to see and it is amazing to see that there is still so much interest in Johnny Cash after all those years which even though he has passed away 11 years ago this September but at least his music holds up so well even this album. This album is a must for country music fans and Johnny Cash fans and I am giving this 4 and a half stars which it's in the shops now so do yourself a favour and BUY IT.
