the Memphis Suns @ the Cooly Sands Stage June 6th 2015
On Saturday morning June 6th I went to the Cooly Sands stage on Griffith Street to see the Memphis Suns an rockabilly group from Adelaide and it was my first time seeing them. The show started at about 11.30am and they did 2 sets as they performed classic Sun recordings as well as stray Cats and one of their own songs and everyone enjoying themselves having an great time and also they didn't have anything to sell even though they had a CD but didn't have it with them as it was back at the hotel. The show finished at about 1 pm, thanked Frank and I walk to Kirra where I would go and see Martin Cilia. It was an FANTASTIC show which the band were FANTASTIC and sounding and playing great as well as doing those classic great songs from a great era and I hope they come back to Cooly Rocks next year.
