' Snakes Gullitones Electric Chairs is the autobiography of the bassist and song writer of the Alice Cooper Group Dennis Dunaway and in this book talks about meeting Vince Furnier who would become Alice Cooper, playing in teen clubs, prisons and cowboy bars as the Earwigs and the Spiders, went to California where they were called the Nazz and eventually becoming Alice Cooper, working in Detroit, the parties , brainstorming recording sessions that revealed the talent,drama and characters that would drove these teenagers who would become one of the biggest acts in America, the great success with hits like No More Mr Nice Guy, I'm Eighteen, School's Out and many others. It is an AWESOME,FANTASTIC and an BRILLIANT book with FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT stories and I enjoyed reading it. This book is co written with Chris Hodenfield who has written for Rolling Stone magazine, Playboy,Sports Illustrated and others and Dennis Dunaway still performs as he plays with a group called Blue Coupe as well as the 5th Avenue Vampires. This book is a must for Alice Cooper fans as well as 70's music fans which I give this 5 stars and it's still in the shops so do yourself a favour and BUY IT.
