As Long As I Have You by Roger Daltrey

As Long As I Have You is the new album by legendary British singer and member of the legendary rock and roll band the Who Roger Daltrey. It has covers including the title track which was a cover of the Garnett Mimms song from 1964 as well as Stevie Wonder, Stephen Stills , Nick Cave etc as well as 2 songs written by Roger himself and Pete Townshend played guitar on 7 tracks as well as Mick Talbot from the legendary British band the Style council playing on it too and it was actually Pete who encouraged Roger to finish the album as he was recovering from meningitis as well as planning to shelved it but when he heard the early mixes it happened. It's an FANTASTIC album with FANTASTIC songs as well as FANTASTIC singing by roger who is still singing great at age 74 and the album went to number 8 in the UK and number 194 in the USA and has done some solo shows throughout the year as well as be doing 2 more this week and also his autobiography will be out in October. This album is first Roger's solo album since 1992 with Rocks In The Head even though he did an album with Wilko Johnson from Dr Feelgood 4 years ago and this album is an must for Who fans as well as Roger Daltrey fans which I give it 4 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT.
