Les McKeown's Bay City Rollers @ Kedron Wavell

On Sunday July 29th I went to Kedron Wavell to see legendary Scottish singer Les McKeown lead singer of the legendary 70's group The Bay City Rollers with his own Bay City Rollers and it was my first time seeing him. I caught the bus to Chermside from South Brisbane, went to the Kedron Wavell, bought CD and photo, rang home, went down stairs to tell the person that we changed address, went to the Blue pacific Room, drank Coke Zero and watch an duo performed. Saw My friends Kevin and Diane and had an Coke Zero to drink. Then Les McKeown's Bay City Rollers came on stage and for the next hour and an half nearly performed many of the BRC Rollers hits as well as doing an 70's segment from queen, Mud, Sweet, marc bolan as well as mentioning Alan Longmuir who passed away recently as well as telling some stories as well as people who came to the front wearing BCR scarfs as well as bring an dog there too which was interesting and everyone was enjoying themselves having an great time. The show finished at 5.26pm, went to the bus stop, caught bus to the city, caught another bus to Carindale, dad picked me up and came home. It was an FANTASTIC Show which everyone enjoyed themselves and Les sounded great with an great band that has Phil Hendriks, Si and Scott McGowan which they played great bringing back memories of an era when music was real and songs were simple and listen to and they have stood the test of time. I look forward to see Les again soon.
