Before We Was We by Madness

This is the joint autobiography of the legendary British group Madness and in this book the members Lee Thompson, Mike Barson, Chris Foreman, Cathal Smyth, Graham "Suggs: McPherson, Mark Bedford and Daniel Woodgate talk about their upbringings, the music they listened and influenced by, the London music scene, spraying graffiti, getting together as the Invaders and briefly Morris and the Minors before becoming Madness, achieving early success with hits like My Girl, The Prince etc, toured with the Specials and The Selecter and many others. It's FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with impressive, funny and entertaining stories and an great read indeed about the group when they started in the 70's as well as the period between 1970-79. The group are still touring which they have coming up in United Arab Emirates, Europe and the USA in 2020 and have release an new single called The Bullingdon Boys and also Dave Robinson who founded Stiff Records did the foreword. This is an must for 70's and 80's music fans as well as fans of Madness which I give it 5 stars and it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be amazed and impressed.
