Rams

Yesterday I went to the South Bank Cinema to see the Australian movie Rams. Two Brothers Les (Michael Caton) and Colin(Sam Neill)  who are sheep farmers and have been estranged for 40 years which they have been raising flock of sheep and then when Les'  prized sheep is diagnosed with a lethal and rare illness the authorities ordered to have  every sheep purged from the valley which puts the community in an situation. Les is defiant  while Colin hides some of the sheep to outsmart the authorities and it's up to them to save their flock as well as getting the community back together and putting aside their differences which gets interesting. It's excellent, very funny and very entertaining with great and excellent acting by Michael Caton, Sam Neill, Asher Keddie and Miranda Richardson. It is directed by Jeremy Sims who worked with Michael Caton in the Australian TV Show Chances from 1991-92 and  produced by Janelle Landers and Aidan O'Bryan. This is an feel good Australian movie which is to be enjoyed and appreciated  and I am giving it 4 stars as it's in the cinemas now so do yourselves an favour and SEE IT which you will love it.
