On Tuesday June 7th I went to the Twin Towns Services CLub to see legendary Australian singer Issi Dye and the Legends of Rock and Roll and it was my first time at Twin Towns for 2 years since Tuesday January 14th 2020 which I was looking forward to going back there for a show. The show started @ 11am with Issi Dye backed by Les on piano and Les on drums coming on stage doing 2 songs, then Glen Douglas coming on stage doing the Roy Orbison classics wearing the black clothes and the sunglasses, then legendary Australian singer Tony Worsley who I have not seen live for 2 years came on stage sang an few songs including 2 Brook Benton songs as well as his 1965 hit Velvet Waters and he mentioned about Barry Gibb as well as turning 80 this year saying that in the 60's he was an pop star and now he's grandad, Issi and Glen on next doing the Everly Brothers stuff both playing guitars Issi playing left handed, Chris Knight came on next doing the Buddy Holly Segment backed by Gail on bass and legendary Brisbane musician Bill Hillman on guitar doing the Buddy Holly classics which he got the crowds to get their arms up when he was doing Rave On, Issi came back on stage doing the Johnny O'Keefe segment and then all the acts came back on stage doing Johnny Be Goode and Shakin All Over which Normie Rowe was supposed to come on stage to do it but he had gone somewhere. The show finished 12.29pm, saw Lorraine who I knew from the gigs, Tony, Issi and Glen had CD's for sale, saw Anne (Tony's Worsley's wife) and an lady called Roni who I had met at the Coolangatta Tweed Golf Club 9 years ago when Tony, Normie and Denise Drysdale were performing which we had an photo together, had an selfie with Issi, bought Glen's CD which he signed it and got an photo, Saw Chris which he was down for Colly Rocks On and I along with him, Issi and Glen got an photo and got Tony's autograph which he signed the 45 Humpy Dumpy from 1967 and got an photo and went off to lunch at Subway.
