This is from the Courier Mail March 23rd 1962 and this was the 4BK Top 40 charts with Dion at number 1 with The Wanderer, Floyd Cramer at number 2 with Chattanooga Choo Choo which was an cover of the Glenn Miller song, Bobby Darin at number 3 with Multiplcation which was from the movie he did with his wife Sandra Dee, Rock Hudson and Gina Lollobridgia and Brenda Lee at number 4 with So Deep. The new entries in the charts that week were Elvis Presley at number 24 with Good Luck Charm, The Tokens at number 25 with Wimowek aka The Lion Sleeps Tonight, Patsy Cline at number 27 with She's Got You, Bobby Vee at number 28 with Please Don't Ask About Barbara, Roy Orbison at number 29 with Dream Baby, the Sensations at number 32 with Let Me In, Connie Francis at number 37 with Don't Break The Heart That Loves You, B Bumble and the Stingers at number 38 with Nut Rocker and Ben E King at number 39 with Ecstacy and the Australian acts in the charts that week were Johnny O'Keefe at number 12 with Sing, Judy Stone at number 13 with I'll Step Down and Lonnie Lee at number 26 with When The Bells Stop Ringing.

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song...
