One Of These Nights The Eagles

On June 10th 1975 the album One of These Nights by the iconic American rock band the Eagles was released which it went to number 1 in the USA, number 8 in the UK and number 5 in Australia which it was recorded at the Record Plant in Los Angeles California and Criteria Studios in Miami and from the album had the 3 hit singles the title track One Of These Nights, Lyin Eyes and Take It To The Limit with Randy Meisner on lead vocals and also it was the last album for original member Bernie Leadon who left the band which he was replaced by Joe Walsh and also it is now out on CD as an 3 CD set. On the first CD it has the original tracks that was on the album and the CD 2 and 3 the bonus tracks are the live recordings that was at Anaheim Stadium on September 28th 1975 which Joe Walsh who would become a member joining them on stage. It is AWESOME and BRILLIANT and it ROCKS with FANTASTIC and SUPERB songs which has stood the test of time and still sounds great today as it did back then. The Eagles with Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy Schmidt, American country singer Vince Gill and Deacon Frey son of Glenn Frey will be doing shows at the Sphere in Las Vegas in September and November this year and it is an must for fans of the Eagles which I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so please do yourselves a favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.

Vale Peter Flanagan(the Fauns/The Flanagans)

Peter Flanagan member of legendary Australian singing family group the Fauns aka the The Flanagans passed away on September 2nd aged 73 at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Peter along with brother Paul and Sister Margaret began as the Fauns in 1959 as they had been doing classical music training which they released 3 singles on the Leedon label- Dance With Me/Don't Take the Stars, We Should Be Together/While Susan Sleeps and Nursery Rhymes Rock and as the Flanagans they released 4 singles on the HMV label-He/Wonderland Of Love and Dreams(1965), Follow the Wind/Land OF Beyond(1965), You Were Meant FOr Me/That's How Man Began(1966) and This is My Song/For Bobby(1967). the group did appearances on Bandstand,Six O'Clock Rock, Teen Time, The Johnny O'Keefe Show, Sing Sing Sing, the Mike Walsh Show, IMT, Revue 61, Revue 62 and many others as well as performing on the Matt Munro TV special in 1966 as well as performing in the clubs too as well as co writing the song...
