Rubber Soul The Beatles

On December 3rd 1965 British rock group The Beatles released their 6th studio album Rubber Soul which it went to number 1 in the UK, USA and Australia and it was the album that signified the change in the music of the Beatles as they were experimenting with different sounds as well as their songs were going away from the early pop stuff like Please Please Me, From Me To You, She Loves You to more expressive and thoughtful lyrics which was influenced by Bob Dylan as well as there was not hit singles from the album even though Nowhere Man was a hit in the US, Australia and some of the other countries including Germany and Canada. The album also had all original material mainly written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney as well as 2 written by George Harrison including If I Needed Someone which was influenced by the Byrds as well as British rock group The Hollies had an number 20 hit with the song at the time and it is now out again on CD which I am reviewing the double CD edition as there is other editions of the album that is ou as well. On the first CD it has the original the tracks on the album and on the 2nd CD it has the singles Day Tripper and We Can Work It Out as well as the demo as well as the different takes of the songs that was on the album different from the ones we know that was on the album. It's AWESOME, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT songs that has stood the test of time and still sounds great today as it did back then. It has entered the Australian charts at number 4, number 2 in the UK and Holland , number 3 in Sweden and Germany, number 1 in Scotland and Norway, number 6 in New Zealand, number 14 in Finland and number 7 in Italy and Giles Martin son of Beatles producer Sir George Martin has just done an FANTASTIC job mixing the album which it's just AWESOME. It is also the album that inspired Brian Wilson from the Beach Boys to do Pet Sounds and it is among one of the great albums in the history of rock and roll. This is a must for Beatles fans and I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so please do yourselves a favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
