The Barron Knights concert @ Twin Towns
Last Saturday night I went to Twin Towns where I saw the British comedy group from the 60's the Barron Knights as the group are celebrating 50 years when they were formed and the current line-up of the group are original members Pete Langford & Butch Baker, temporary bassist Simon Yates and drummer Lloyd Courtenay. The show was packed and it was FANTASTIC & FUNNY as they did a mixture of rock'n'roll and fun which they told funny stories including Butch telling the story about him & Pete being on a train as they went pass a station they were supposed to get off and when the train approached the other station they jumped on the platform and the train stopped the people got off. They were on for an hour and half which i really enjoyed and I could the others enjoying it too and after the show they had CD's on sale which I got autographs and photos with the guys and also I asked Lloyd about is current bass player Mickey Groome still with them which he is but will be back with them on December 4th. If you get an chance to see them live go and SEE them as they put on an great show and get you entertained with music and comedy.
