Elvis My Best Man by George Klein
Just last week I bought this book @ QBD in Carindale and it's called "Elvis My best Man" written by George Klein an Disc Jockey as well as part of Elvis Presley's inner circle. In this book he talks about first meeting Elvis @ Humes High School in North memphis in 1948 in 8th grade, doing his radio career in memphis on WMC, Touring with Elvis as hanging around with Hollywood stars, the good times in Graceland, hosting his own TV show called "Talent Party", Elvis' death and many others. it's a excellent book to read which George tells a lot of very good stories and candidly writes about the Elvis he knew and how he acted behind the scenes, It's an must for any Elvis Presley as well as rock'n'roll fans and it's in the shops now. i give it 4 and a half stars.
