Life by Keith Richards
It was announced in 2007 that Rolling Stones member Keith Richards was going to write his autobiography and here we are 3 years later it is out which it's called "Life". For an man who's lived the rock'n'roll life for more than 45 years with the Rolling Stones who were formed in 1962 with Mick Jagger and Brian Jones, had their first hit single "Come On" in 1963 which went to no 21 in the UK and created the riffs, lyrics and songs like Jumpin Jack Flash, Honky Tonk Women, Satisfaction, Street Fighting Man etc that still endures today. In this book he tells of his childhood in Dartford,England, got his first guitar at age 15, learning guitar, listening to Chuck Berry and Muddy Waters, forming the Rolling Stones, the group's first fame and success as the Bad Boys of Rock, the drug busts, falling in love with Anita Pallenberg, the death of Brian Jones, Tax Exiles in France, ever increasing fame, addiction and many others. It's an AWESOME and a BRILLIANT book which Keith tells an lot of great stories about his life as well as talking about touring with people like Roy Orbison, the everly brothers, Little Richard, bo Diddley, the Ronettes and others. It's an must for an any rock'n'roll/Rolling Stones fan which I hope you enjoy reading the book as I have and Keith is the 3rd member of the Rolling Stones to write his autobiography which Bill Wyman wrote "Stone Alone" in 1990 and Ronnie Wood with "Ronnie" in 2007. I give it 5 stars and it's in the shops now as it was released 2 weeks ago
