Arbitrage
On Monday I went to the Myer Center Cinema to see the movie Arbitrage. Robert Miller(Richard Gere) an 60 year old hedge fund billionaire who is married to Ellen(Susan Sarandon)and has an daughter Brooke(Brit MArling) and appears the very portrait of business success but behind the image he is having problems as he in over his head as he is trying to cover an investment and avoid being arrested for fraud as he has cooked his company's books and is involved in an car accident that kills his mistress Julie (Laetitia Casta) which he is injured as well as escaping the accident as the car goes up in flames. He tries to cover his involvement in order to prevent it to go public as well as Ellen finding out and also tries to avoid the detective who is investgating the case Detective Bryer(tim Roth) who is covinced that Miller is the murderer and it's gets very interesting. It's an EXCELLENT and an BRILLIANT movie with BRILLIANT performances by Richard GEre, Susan Sarandon, Brit Marling, Tim ROth, Nate Grant who plays Jimmy, Laetitia Casta, Graydon Carter who plays JAmes Mayfield and others. it is directed by Nicholas Jarecki who also writes the screenplay and produced by Laura Bickford, Kevin Turen, Justin nappi,Robert Salerno and Mohammed Alturki. I am giving this 4 and an half stars and it's currently running in the cinemas now
