My Way is the autobiography of legendary Canadian singer-songwriter Paul Anka. In this book he talks about his upbringing in Ottawa Canada, began singing in an group called the Bobby Soxers, recorded for Modern Recods which he had an record out called Blua Wile Deverest Fontaine but was not a hit, began recording for ABC Paramount Records which he had his first hit in 1957 with the classic hit Diana (an number 1 hit all over the world) as well as having other hits with Lonely Boy, You Are My Destiny, Put your head on Shoulder, Puppy Love, You're Having My Baby etc, touring with people like the Everly brothers, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly, the Drifters, Little Richard, Fabian and many others, writing songs for other acts including It Doesn't Matter Anymore for Buddy Holly, She's A Lady for Tom Jones, My Way for Frank Sinatra, wrote the theme song for the Tonight Show, doing movies, his 2 marriages and many others. It's an BRILLIANT and an AWESOME book with great stories which were impressive and David Dalton co wrote the book. It's been 56 years since Paul Anka came on the music scene which he is still going strong still touring and still recording which he has just released an new album 'Duets". This book is an must for any Paul Anka fans as well as fans of 50's rock and pop music and I am giving this 5 stars which it's in the shops now.
