Paper Planes

On Monday January 26th(Australia Day)I went to the South Bank Cinema to see the Australian movie Paper Planes. Dylan (Ed Oxenbould) is an young boy who has a passion for paper planes and eventually competes in Japan at the World paper Planes Championships as well as dealing with his unemployed father Jack(Sam Worthington) who is still grieving over the death of Dylan's mother in an accident and gets inspiration from his RAAF fighter pilot grandfather (Terry Norris), an eagle he feeds on the way to school and Kimi(Ena Inmi)an Japanese paper plane world champion and it gets interesting throughout the movie. it is a excellent Australia movie with excellent acting by Ed Oxenbould, Sam Worthington, Debra Mailman who plays Maureen, Terry Norris, Ena Imani, Nicholas Bakopoulos-Cooke who plays Dylan's chief rival Jason, David Wenham who plays Jason's father Patrick an former golf player and Peter Rowsthorn who plays the teacher Mr Hickenlooper. It's directed by Robert Connolly who also does the screenplay with Steve Worland and producers are Gary Hamilton and Liz Kearney. I am giving this 4 stars which it's currently running in the cinemas and do yourself a favour and SEE IT.
