Good Vibrations My Life As A Beach Boy by Mike Love
Good Vibrations My Life As A Beach Boy is the autobiography of Mike Love lead singer of the legendary American rock group the Beach Boys. In this book he talks about his upbringing in California, forming the Beach Boys in 1961, having successful hit records throughout the 60's which he co wrote many of them with his cousin Brian Wilson, behind the scenes happening of the group including drugs, betrayal and others, the deaths of his cousins Dennis Wilson and Carl Wilson, getting into Transcendental Meditation, his marriages and many others. It is an AWESOME, BRILLIANT and an FANTASTIC book with great and FANTASTIC stories which I enjoyed reading it. The Beach Boys are still touring the world after 55 years of formation which Mike is the only original still in the group with keyboard player and vocalist Bruce Johnston who has been with them since 1965 despite leaving for 6 years in the 70's and still going strong which I saw them last year @ Jupiters Casino on the Gold Coast in Queensland which it was AWESOME and BRILLIANT. This book is a must for fans of the Beach Boys as well as fans of 60's music and I give it 5 stars which it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT.
