The Chaperone

Last night I went to the Balmoral Cinema with my Mum to see the movie The Chaperone. It's 1922 and 16 years old Louise Brooks(Haley Lu Richardson) is going to New York to study dance and Norma Carlisle (Elizabeth McGovern) from Kansas offers to take her as an chaperone which she does and goes to New York where Louise goes to the dance school which it's run by Ruth St John(Miranda Otto) and her husband Ted Shawn (Robert Fairchild)as well as Norma wants to find out about her birthparents as well as meeting an guy named Joseph (Geza Rohing) while Louise is enjoying the New York life and it gets interesting. It's Fantastic and excellent with top, impressive and excellent acting by Haley Lu Richardson, Elizabeth McGovern, Miranda otto, Robert Fairchild, Geza Rohing, Blythe Danner and Campbell Scott son of actors George C Scott and Colleen Drewhurst. Elizabeth McGovern was one of the producers along with Victoria Hill who played Louise's mother Myra, Rose Ganguzza, Greg Clark, Kelly Carmichael and Luca Scalisi, Michael Engler and Julian Fellows did the Screenplay. Haley Lu Richardson who was in the movie Five Feet Apart which it's still running in some cinemas was just very impressive and fantastic as Louise Brooks which I actually impressed with her performance and I hope she continues to come up with great roles . I am giving this 4 stars as it's in the cinemas now so do yourselves an favour and See it which you will be impressed which should remind how times were different back in the entertainment industry and life as it is now.
