In 1977 the compilation Olivia Newton John Greatests Hits was released in October which went to number 18 in Australia, number 19 in the UK ,number 13 in the USA pop charts and number 7 in the USA country charts and it has the singles that were put out between 1971 to 1977 which included the hits If Not For You, Let Me Be There, If You Love Me Let Me Know, I Love You I Honestly Love You and others and it was produced by fellow Australian John Farrar who played in the Australian group the Strangers as well as playing with the Shadows and Marvin Welch and Farrar as well as producing and writing Oliva's hits at the album. The album has been reissued as an Deluxe Edition and besides the songs on the album there is other songs that were not on the album at that time including The Air That I Breathe, Banks Of The Ohio, Take Me Home Country Roads, Jolene and many others and Olivia wrote the liner notes as well as Pete Paphides who is an British music journalist and broadcaster. It is FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT songs that has endured to this day and it will never die as great music keeps living which Olivia Newton John's music in just that as you can never get tired hearing the great songs. Olivia passed away 4 months ago but the great music she made will live on forever and what great music it is. This is an must for Olivia Newton John fans and I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will love it.
