Half Deaf Completely Mad by Tony Cohen
This is the posthumous memoir of Australian record producer and sound engineer Tony Cohen and in this book talked about his upbringing in Melbourne, got an drum in the early 70's, played in an band called Epitaph, starting work experience at Armstrong Studios which eventually worked there doing odd jobs and promoted to mono dubbing boy, becoming an engineer as well as producer, working with Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs, JIm Keays, Cat Stevens, Chad Morgan, The Ferrets, The Cruel Sea, Lobby Loyde, Nick Cave with the Boys Next Door, The Birthday Party and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, his issues with drugs and many others. It is FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with impressive and very entertaining stories which it is well worth an read. Tony Cohen passed away in 2017 and John Olson hepled with the book as well too. This is an must for Australian music fans and I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
