Issi Dye and Glen Douglas at Greenmount Surf Club
Last Thursday Night June 8th I went to the Greenmount Surf Club to see legendary Australian singer Issi Dye and Glen Douglas which it was my 2nd time this year seeing them. The show started at 7pm with Issi and Glen coming on stage which they did 2 sets which in the first set did songs by Johnny Cash, Bobby Darin, The Everly Brothers, Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley and there was an interval which I saw Tyler who was there with Leanne and had an coke with no Sugar and Milky Bar. In the second set they did songs by the Beatles, Billy Ray Cyrus, Buddy Holly which early in the 2nd set Scott Cameron who does an Buddy Holly tribute show came on stage and performed It's So Easy which he sounded as I have not seen him live since 2011 and Ricky Nelson also reminded the audience about the show on Tuesday June 13th at Twin Towns as well as the show at the Queen Elizabeth Park stage on Sunday. The show finished at 9pm, got photos with Issi and Glen, rang Dad, went to Woolworths, bought Coke with No Sugar and went back to Ocean Plaza. It was an FANTASTIC show with great singing and entertainment by Issi and Glen who always get the crowds singing along to great songs which has stood the test of time and everyone had a great time singing along and dancing.
