Barbie
Last Sunday I went to the South Bank Cinema to see the movie Barbie. Barbie(Margot Robbie) who lives in Barbieland along with fellow Barbies are successful, self sufficent and self confident while Ken (Ryan Gosling) along the other Kens are always at the beach doing recreational stuff and Beach Ken is only happy to be with Barbie which he seeks an closer relationship but she doesn't want to as she wants to have independence and female friends. She is suddenly stricken worries about mortality during an dance party and then the next day she can't do her usual routine as well as having flatfeet which she has cellulite. Weird Barbie (Kate McKinnon) advises her to go to the real world to find the child playing child and to be cured of her affliction and she goes there along with Ken . They arrived at Venice Beach causing havoc and the CEO of Mattell(Will Ferrell) is alarmed who orders their capture. Barbie meets Sasha (Ariana Greenblatt) who criticizes her for unrelastic beauty standards and discovers that Gloria (America Ferrerea) who works for Mattel is the catalyst of her existential crisis and then goes back to back to Barbieland after attempting to be remodeled by Mattel which she escaped with Sasha and Gloria's help and it dominated by Ken and the other Kens which the Barbies are maids, housewives and agreeable girlfriends and then it gets interesting. It is FANTASTIC, Very funny and very entertaining with FANTASTIC acting by Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Kate McKinnon, Will Ferrell, Ariana Greenblatt, Rhea perlman and America Ferrerea and it is directed by Greta Gerwig who did the screenplay with Noah Baumbach and Produced by Margot Robbie, David Heyman, Tom Ackerley and Robbie Brenner. It is well worth seeing and great entertainment which it's great for the family and I give it 4 stars as it's in the cinemas now so do yourselves an favour and SEE IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
