4BH Top 40 charts November 1968

This is from the Telegraph November 1st 1968 and this was the 4BH top 40 charts with Mary Hopkin at number 1 with the song produced by Paul McCartney Those Were The Days, Leapy Lee at number 2 with Little Arrows, Buzz Cason at number 3 with Adam and Eve and Derek aka Johnny Cymball at number 4 with Cinnamon. Among the Australian acts in the top 40 that week were The Virgil Brothers which included Peter Doyle and Rob Lovett from the Loved Ones at number 5 with Shake Me Wake Me/Here I Am, The Love Machine at 12 with their version of the Lion Sleeps Tonight, Marcie and the Cookies at number 13 with I Would If I Could/All Or Nothing, the boys from Redcliffe the Bee Gees at number 20 with Kitty Can/I've Gotta Get A Message To You, John (Johnny) Farnham at number 23 with the song written by Hans Poulsen Rose Coloured Glasses and The Groove at number 25 with You Are The One I Love and among the other acts in the top 40 that week were The Beatles at number 8 with Hey Jude/Revolution, The
