The Voice Inside by John Farnham
This is the autobiography of legendary Australian singer John Farnham and in the books talks about his upbringing in London, coming to Australia with his family in 1959, living in Melbourne, played in bands The Mavericks and Strings Unlimited, discovered by Darryl Sambell, began recording for EMI, had his first hit with Sadie The Cleaning Lady as well as hits in the late 60's and early 70's including Friday Kind Of Monday, Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head and Don't You Know It's Magic, his marriage to Jillean which is still going today, the down period in the mid to late 70's, having the hit single Help in 1980, joining Little River Band in 1982 which lasted until 1986, making an huge comeback with the album Whispering Jack along with the classic song You're The Voice as well as other albums including Age Of Reason and Chain Reaction, the passing of long time Manager Glenn Wheatley, his cancer scare and many others. It is AWESOME, BRILLIANT and SUPERB with FANTASTIC, AMAZING and BRILLIANT stories as well as very impressive and very entertaining which it is well worth an read and also great to see John Farnham telling his story which he tells it honestly and takes on the journey of his life and career. As I mentioned he had the cancer scare recently but his is doing very well and was recently at an Coldplay concert in Melbourne. This is an must for John Farnham fans and I give it 5 stars as it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
