Turn Up Your Video The Masters Apprentices
In June 2000 there was an documentary about legendary Australian rock band The Masters Apprentices that was shown on ABC TV called Turn Up Your Video which the video version was released not long after that and it is now out on DVD through Ambition Entertainment. On the DVD it had interviews with Jim Keays, Glenn Wheatley and Doug Ford from the Masters as well as Australian rock musician historian Glenn A Baker and Brad Sheprherd from the Hoodoo Gurus as well as footage some had never been seen and talking about the history of the Masters from the formations when they were called the Mustangs in 1965 as well as having the hits including Undecided, Living In A Child's Dream, Elevator Driver, Because I Love You and many others as well as the line up changes, the break up in 1972 and the reunion in 1988 and many others. It is AWESOME, BRILLIANT and SUPERB as well as very impressive and very entertaining which is well worth watching and learning about this legendary Australian rock band. It is great to see the documentary out on DVD which it is wonderful to see it again and the Masters Apprentices are still fondly remembered after all these years and their music still gets played on the radio to this day which since the documentary as there was another documentary in 2007 Fully Qualified that was out on DVD Jim Keays, Glenn Wheatley, Colin Burgess, Steve Hopgood and Gavin Wood have sadly passed but the music lives on forever. This is an must for Masters Apprentices fans which I give it 5 stars and it's in the shops now so do yourselves an favour and BUY IT which you will be impressed and amazed.
