The Correspondent

This afternoon I went to the Events Cinema Carindale to see the new Australian The Correspondent. It's December 2013 Australian journalist Peter Greste (Richard Roxbourgh) is called to go over to Cairo for 3 weeks to cover the news desk gets arrested for spreading false news as well as terrorism and aiding the Muslim Brotherhood along with 2 other guys Mohamad Fahmy(Julian Maroun) and Baher Mohamed (Rahel Romahn). They are taken to prison and Peter was refused bail as well as was found guilty which he would serve 7 years and then it gets interesting. It is gripping, Amazing, Brilliant and Superb with top and Brilliant acting by Richard Roxburgh, Julian Maroun, Rahel Romahn, John Bell and Yael Stone. It is directed by Kriv Stenders and produced by Carmel Travers. I am giving this 4 and an half stars and it's in the cinemas now so do yourselves and SEE IT which you will be impressed and amazed. Please support Australian movies.
