The Robertson Brothers 1960s Variety TV Show @ Redlands Performing Arts Centre

On Sunday afternoon I went to the Redland Performing Arts Centre to see the 1960's Variety Show with the Robertson Brothers, Simon Brook McLachlan and Cosima Devito who was in Australian Idol 2003 which it was my first time seeing the show. I caught the bus to Carindale from the City, caught bus from Carindale to Cleveland, walk to RPAC, bought Cashews and Coke With No Sugar, ate cashews, drank coke with No Sugar and went inside. The show started at 2pm with clips and even an intro by the Lone Ranger and the Robertson Brothers came onstage starting off with Wake Up Little Susie and Simon Brook McLachlan came on doing an tribute to Del Shannon, the Robertson Brothers did an medley of Australian songs of the 60's including the Delltones and the Bee Gees, the guitarist Dieter performed the song Classical Gas, Cosima De Vito came on which she did an segment of the 60's female singers including Dusty Springfield and Cilla Black and finished off the 1st set with an medley of Be...

It is 40 years ago this year when legendary Australian rock band INXS released the album Listen Like Thieves which was recorded in Sydney at Rhinoceros Studios as well as being mixed at AIR Studios in London and went to number 1 in Australia, number 11 in the USA and number 48 in the UK which the album had 4 hit singles What You Need, This Time, Kiss The Dirt and the title track and also it now out on CD as an Extended Edition to celebrate the releases of the album. Last night I went to Kedron Wavell whee i got to see Australian country singers Adam Eckersley and Brooke McClymont who are husband and wife and it was my 2nd time seeing Brooke which I first saw her live with her sisters The McClymonts nearly 11 years ago at Kedron Wavell Saturday October 25th 2014. I caught bus to Chermside, went to the Sporting Globe where I had Chicken Burger and Chips for dinner, drank Coke With No Sugar, walk to Kedron Wavell, went to the Blue Pacific Room and use my mobile. The show started at 7.30pm with Peter Chapman and the Lumberjacks came on stage which he did an half hour set doing his own songs as well as doing the Creedence Clearwater Revival song Have You Ever Seen The Rain which he got the crowd to sing along and got everyone entertained. There was an interval which I bought an Coke with No Sugar, bought an Hat and Bag at the Merch Stand and use my mobile.
